For teachers

Researcher. Here we have gathered information which teachers will find especially useful. On the library website you will find more services and information on what help the library can offer.

Course literature

The library has generous purchasing policies for course literature. Here are the most important things to know.

Purchasing policy

As a rule we purchase one copy of a course book per ten students. One copy of the course books purchased is available for day-loan only, the remaining copies can be borrowed for up to seven days. An increasing number of course literature is available electronically. When course literature is available electronically, printed versions of the book are not purchased as e-books can be accessed by an unlimited number of users. For more information, see our purchase policies.

Course literature lists

In order for the course literature to be purchased ready for the start of the course it is important that we receive course literature lists in time before the start of the course. We send out a reminder to the school secretaries regarding the lists, who then return completed lists to us at the library. It is of particular importance that we receive lists containing any books which need to be converted into talking books well in advance. The conversion process takes time.
