Student financesStudent finances

Students in higher education are often entitled to a grant via CSN, Swedish Board for Study Support. Study aid consists of a loan – which must be repaid when you have finished studying, and a grant – that does not need to be repaid.

Information and forms are available from the Study and Career Centre. For more information and contact with CSN, visit their website or call: 0771-276 000.

You can also apply for scholarships while studying.

Finding accommodation in Stockholm Looking for accommodation?

Finding accommodation in Stockholm is not easy, but it is possible. You must calculate on this taking some time, particularly if you want a student room or student apartment. Many students in Stockholm live in sublet accommodation, share an apartment with other students or lodge in someone’s home. Remember that public transport in Stockholm is good, so it is possible to get to the university even if you live quite a way away.
