Advanced Macroeconomics

Course 7,5 credits

The course provides further knowledge of modern macroeconomic theories that form the basis of international research in the field of macroeconomics. On the basis of micro-foundations and political economics, it deals with the following areas with an emphasis on coordination and stability problems: consumption and investments, money and credit, and growth. The financial crisis is examined from different theoretical perspectives and their applications. This means there is a significantly higher level of abstraction than in previous theory courses, both in terms of concepts and formalities.
