Assistant Professor in Business Administration, Organization Theory.                                                           Head of School of Business Studies (since 2010).

My main research area is in organization theory and leadership. Above all I have focused on culture and organizing from an organizational culture perspecitve and from an arts management perspective. In 2003 I finnished my PhD thesis on creativity and relationships in a Concert Hall, with a holistic view on the orchestra musicians, the conductor as a leader and the administration of the hall. My research  has continued in the field of cultural policy and how it influences the everyday life of arts organizations. For the moment I am part of the research project "The Culture Struggle.  Entrepreneurship, translation and power" at Södertörn University.

I came to Södertörn University in 1997 in order to develop an education program in Cultural Management. The three year Bachelor Program starten in 1999 and until 2009 I was head of the program. The program is unique in Sweden since it focuses on business administration with cultural theory as a specialization and is an undergraduate program. During these years we developed international cooperation through NordCult (Nordic network for Cultural Management Education), ENCATC and Synaxis Baltica. I also created courses in Project management, Cultural Management and Cultural & Design Policy.

Teaching in higheer education has always been of great interest to me and for two years I was responsible for the unit of university pedagogy at Södertröns University (2008-2009). In the fall of 2007 I got a STINT-scholarship in "Excellence in Teaching" and spent the fall term at Washington & Lee University, Va – as a visiting professor. As head of the School of Business Studies I continued the work of development of teaching in higher education.

I am a board member of SweCult (Swedish Cultural Observatory).
