I teach and reseach in the field of business informatics / information systems. This includes teaching within an area we call net-based information systems (NIS). In particular, I teach within the undergraduate program Management with IT, where students obtain a double competence profile in business administration and information and communication technology (ICT). I have special interests in the areas of ICT-supported service innovation, business intelligence and entrepreneurial methodologies. Within NIS, the technological focus lies mainly on front-end design of ICT, including mobile and webb.

Within research and development I currently work in an Interreg project called Archipelago Business Development that supports entrepreneurs in Baltic Sea archipelagos of Sweden, Åland and Finland. My focus in the project is on digital entrepreneurship and more generally on questions of digitalization in the archipelago context, with specific focus on Stockholm Archipelago. In a finished research project called CIBAS we studied how social ICT could be used to improve design and information architecture of services within competitive intelligence. In that project my topic of study was information architecture for social information spaces and competitive intelligence services.
