Furthermore, students will engage with the most recent discussions on digital media in the course Digital Media Technologies and study Academic English.

During the second year, students have the opportunity to take a range of optional courses to specialize in a subarea of Media, Communication and Cultural Analysis. Additionally, during the second year, courses and individual tutoring focus on the completion of an autonomous, advanced research project. The planning of this project involves the course in Strategies of Media Research. In its final form, the project is presented as a Master's dissertation, written in English or Swedish.
