Roll call/registration

Welcome to registration for the course Quality Assurance in Tourism Destinations!

You who have been offered a place on the course should register via the internet. You do not need to come to the university in person to register. However, if you have received a conditional offer you can’t register via the internet. Instead you must contact us, at turism@sh.se, and prove that you fulfil the entry requirements before registration.

Registration via the internet

You can register via the internet from 10-08-2017 until 27-11-2017. Instructions for registration are available under the headline, “More information”.

Obligatory registration

All students at Södertörn University must register prior to every semester. Registration means that you accept your place at the university. You will lose your place if your do not register. Please contact turism@sh.se if you don’t succeeded with your registration.

Waiting list applicants

If the course is not full after the registration period, for the admitted students, ends then we will contact applicants on the waiting list. The applicants will be contacted by e-mail so it is important, if you are on the waiting list, that you check your e-mail.

Note that we may contact applicants on the waiting list in advance of the closure of the registration period for the admitted students.

SH-Card and SH-Account

Your SH-Card works as a keycard, library card and printing and copying card at Södertörn University. As a new student you need to have your photograph taken for your SH-Card. During weeks 34 and 35 you can have your photograph taken, as well as collect your SH-Card and SH-Account, outside MA 636 in the Moa Building (floor 6). Reception deals with these issues at other times. Please note that you must be registered to be able to collect your card.

You use your SH-Account (username and password) to log in to the university’s learning platform, SH Study Web, and to access your email, library services, and to access e-resources from home.

If you are a new student at Södertörn University and register via the internet, your SH-Account will be emailed to the email address you provide within 24 hours.

Timetable and reading list

The timetable, course syllabus and reading list are available under the headline “More information”. Course literature can be bought from the bookshop, Harrys böcker, at the university, and also borrowed from the university library.
