Place: Registration via the internet

Students who has been offered a place at International Master's Programme in Journalism must register via the internet.

You do not need to come to the university to register in person. However, if you have received a conditional offer, you must contact the university prove that you fulfil the entry requirements before registration.

Web registration is available from 10-08-2017 to 21-08-2017. Information about how to register via the internet is below the heading “Web registration for courses”.

If you do not register via the internet, you will lose your place at the university.

If you have any questions about the course or for some reason was not ableto register via the webb you need to contact journalistik@sh.se before the 21th of August to maintain your place or you will lose it and it will be offered to the next person in line.

SH-Card and SH-Account

YourSH-Card works as a keycard, library card and printing and copying card
at Södertörn University. New students need to be photographed for their SH-Card. You may do this before you register, and we recommend that you are photographed as soon as possible. You can have your photograph
taken, as well as collect your SH-Card and SH-Account, at the reception desk by the main entrance. Please note that you must be registered to be able to collect your card.You use your SH-Account (username and
password) to log in to the university’s learning management system, SH-StudyWeb, and to access your email, library services, and to access e-resources from home.If you are a new student at Södertörn
University and register via sh.se/kursregistrering your SH-Account will be sent the e-mail address you provide at registration within 24 hours.

Timetable and reading list

The timetable and syllabus, which includes a reading list, are available via
sh.se/semesterstart as well as below. Use the “Programme” or “Course” tab and find yours. The syllabus and reading list are also available in your course room on SH-StudyWeb. Books can be bought at “Harrys böcker”
bookshop on campus, or borrowed from the university library.

Web registration for courses

How you register via the internet depends on whether you already have an
SH-Account or not, see below. If you have a conditional offer, you
cannot use the web registration and must contact the university to register: journalistik@sh.se

If you are a new student at Södertörn University, please do the following to register on your course(s).

1. Go to the following link: sh.se/kursregistrering.

2. Follow the instructions on this page. You need the registration number
from your admission decision from antagning.se, so make sure it’s close
by when you fill in your information.

3. When you have registered, you will receive an email confirmation of your registration. The
confirmation is sent to the e-mail address you provided on the registration page. Log in to SH-StudyWeb to access your course(s).
Once you have registered on a course and received email confirmation of this, you can log in to SH-StudyWeb, which is the university's learning management system. The email confirmation also includes your SH-Account
(username and password). This allows you to access your course via SH-StudyWeb and familiarise yourself with it. In your course room in SH-StudyWeb, you'll find course materials, course planning, the
syllabus and reading list. SH-StudyWeb is where you hand-in assignments and register for exams.

1. Log in to SH-StudyWeb as follows: Start a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer) and navigate to
https://sh.itslearning.com/

2. Choose Logga in med SH-konto (log in
with an SH-Account) Enter the användarnamn (username) and lösenord
(password) you received in the e-mail.

3. You will find your course(s) below Kurser (courses) in the black menu row at the top.

If you have previously studied at Södertörn University and already have an
SH-Account, please do the following to register on your course(s).

1. Log in the SH-StudyWeb by opening a web browser (Chrome, Firefox,
Internet Explorer) and navigating to https://sh.itslearning.com/

2. Choose Logga in med SH-konto (log in with an SH-Account). Enter your
användarnamn (username) and lösenord (password). Have you forgotten your
username and/or password? Contact mediecenter@sh.se.

3. Click on the Kursregistrering (course registration) link below Ladok på webb (LPW - Ladok on the Web).

4. Click on Sök registreringsförslag (search for registration suggestion).

5. Click on Registrera (register) for the course(s) you wish to register for and then confirm. After registering, you can immediately check that your registration has been received by clicking on the link for Sök
nuvarande registreringar (search for current registrations) in Ladok on the Web.

6. You will receive an email confirmation of your registration.

7. Navigate to your course(s) via Kurser (courses) in the upper black menu
row if SH-StudyWeb. NB! You must have received email confirmation of
your registration before you can access your course(s).

Master's Programme in English-Language Literature - Postcolonialism and Multiculturalism 60.00 credits SH-42863 Day100% Mer info

Roll call/registration

Obligatory web registration between 16-20 August. If you don't register within 20 August your place on the programme will go to a student on the waiting list.

A bachelor degree in English or 180 credits corresponding to a bachelor in English is required for registration to be possible. If you are waiting for results to qualify, write this to engelska@sh.se no later than 20 August as not to lose your place on the programme. The results need to come in before 25 August.

Students on the waiting list will be contacted after 20 August via mail, also after the course start, and have to reply within ca 24 hours.
