Lappkärrsberget, or "Lappis" as it is more commonly known, is located in the middle of Ekoparken, the National City Park, and is a ten-minute walk from Stockholm University. The area mainly has traditional halls of residence - single rooms in student corridors. SSSB, the housing company, has reserved a few rooms for students from Södertörn University.

Local transport:

To get to Lappis from Södertörn University, take the commuter train from Flemingsberg to Stockholm Central Station (20 minutes). Stockholm Central Station is connected to T-centralen, the main metro station. From T-centralen you can catch the metro towards Mörby Centrum to "Universitetet" (4 stops), from where buses (no.50) run to Lappis every 15 minutes.  You can also walk from Universitetet in less than 10 minutes.

In the neighbourhood:

Lappis is situated close to a lake and a number of walking and cycling trails. The area has its own supermarket and Stockholm city centre is only 10 minutes away by underground. It is possible to buy a membership card for the gym situated on the Stockholm University campus.
