Natural Sciences, Technology and Environmental Studies

Interior from Södertörn UniversityThe School of Natural Sciences, Technology and Environmental Studies conducts education and research in Media Technology and Informatics, Environmental Science, Tourism Studies, Biology, Mathematics Teaching, Meal Sciences and Geography.

These form the basis of a multidisciplinary environment with a strong focus on interdisciplinarity. Many of our subjects are young academic subjects, which results in even greater potential for new and exciting collaborations across subject boundaries.

Study Information Desk for Natural Sciences, Technology and Environmental Studies - D 5

The MD 5 Study Information Desk is for students connected to the School of Natural Sciences, Technology and Environmental Studies and the School of Historical and Contemporary Studies. This is where you will meet the people who work with the administration of the courses and programmes at the Schools.

Opening hours: Monday-Thursday 12.30-15.00

At the Study Information Desk, you can ask questions about your courses and get help with:

  • Registration. You must be registered to participate in classes and examinations. This applies to programmes and courses.
  • Re-register. If you are going to take a re-sit examination or participate on a course on which you were registered in a previous semester, you must re-register. Re-registration is necessary for your result to be registered in Ladok.
  • Collect copies of previous exam papers to help prepare you examinations.
  • Submit take-home examinations and assignments.
  • Collect examinations that you have taken. You must show your students' union ID (SöderS card) or other ID to be able to sign out your exam paper. Exam papers are saved for two years from the examination date.
  • Collect and submit forms for approved leave from studies/non-completion and credit transfer.
  • Get Ladok transcripts (a verifiable certificate of registration or enrolment).
