Here we have gathered information which teachers will find especially useful. On the library website you will find more services and information on what help the library can offer.
Support for teachers
Do you, as a teacher, think that your students need to develop their skills to search, evaluate and use scholarly information? Need to get educational tools for developing your web-based distance learning course? We can help you with this!
The library's teaching
Teachers at Södertörn University or The Swedish Red Cross University College can apply for the library's teaching. We offer introductions to academic writing, level A (together with teachers from the Study Support Unit) and information search classes primarily for level A and C. Our teaching is free of charge.
We offer consultation and support for the development of web-based distance learning. We work together with the Development Unit for university teaching and learning and the Study Support Unit on the development of teaching and learning at the college. We want to give our teachers the space to participate in and be themselves with the development activities. We offer you as a teacher a number of workshops on various themes, for example: open educational resources (OER), Flipped Classroom and student active lectures.
In this studio you can get individual help with creating instructional videos or other digital teaching material. Read more on the Record your lectures in the ICT-studio-page.
Are you a teacher at the university with an interest in ICT, education and teaching? Read our news blog News about web-based learning - WBL (Nyheter om Nätbaserat Lärande - NNL).
