University Chaplaincy

The University Chaplancy offers a place to meet new friends, talk about life and maybe find a place for your spiritual needs.

At Södertörns Högskola you find us next to the bookstore “Harrys böcker”. We are present at the school Tuesdays and Thursdays, but it is possible to contact us, even other days. If you would like to make an oppointment, send us a textmessage or an e-mail. The counselling sessions are free of charge and confidential.

The University Chaplains come from different churches and represent different denominations of christian faith, as Church of Sweden (Lutheran church), United Church of Sweden (Covenant Church, Baptist Church and the Methodist Church), and the Catolic Church. We also have good relations to other denominations and religions, if you would like to come in contact with a represantative for another confession of faith.

Room of serenity MC 339

The room of serenity is a place for those who wish to sit quietly with themselves – perhaps alongside others. A room for the inner life – work and rest, stillness and movement. A place where your spirituality, belief or non-belief guides you. A room where you can engage in prayer and devotional practices from different traditions, in mutual respect for one another. The room is open to all.
