Wireless networks

Södertörn University has two wireless networks, one for staff and students, and one for guests.

eduroam wireless network

Södertörn University is a member of the eduroam partnership. eduroam is a network of many European higher education institutions (HEIs) that is available to students and employees and can be used at all the member HEIs in Europe.

More information about eduroam is available here. To be able to log in via eduroam you must accept the certificate and then provide SH login details in the following way:

The university also has a wireless network for guests. Temporary logins for guests to the university’s wireless network can be collected from MedieCenter (MA 517). Guest logins are provided when ID is presented. These accounts are valid for 24 hours.


Please note that MedieCenter/Södertörn University cannot be held liable for adaptations you make on your personal computer. You are responsible for managing and configuring your private equipment, e.g. computers, mobile phones, etc.

The university only provides technical support for university equipment and not private equipment. Do not leave equipment unattended, as the university is not liable to provide compensation if personal property is stolen.
