Workshop in Academic writing - Preparing for the ´kappa´
The workshop explores the challenges of writing the ´kappa´ or covering chapter of an article-based thesis, and considers how to prepare to write it. It is intended to be relevant for all PhD candidates, at all stages, including those writing monographs, and potentially for supervisors.

It is led by Timothy Richardson, Professor in Urban Planning at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). He leads a well-established PhD course in academic writing and publishing at NMBU, and has led seminars and workshops on academic writing at universities in Sweden, Denmark and Latvia.
