MapRom is the first quantitative study of historical demography for Romani population from Romanian Principalities, mainly based on the unpublished lists of population in the Romanian National Archive completed in 1838 that supply detailed economic information on 12,282 Romani households and socio-demographic data on 48,508 Romani individuals from nearly all parts of Wallachia. The data was entered in a webtool hosted on MapRom External link., and the dataset is published at the Swedish National Datacentre.
