Martin Jonsson: Being co-creative with AI – A new paradigm for creative practices?

Martin Jonsson is associate professor of Media Technology at Södertörn högskola.
In this talk, he will present some findings from a series of studies that explore how generative AI technologies can play a role in creative practices, within the domains of design ideation, programming, and creative writing. Post-human perspectives on use and design were used in the analysis to highlight the sharing of agency and intent in the unfolding creative activities. The results indicate a great potential to support various creative practices, but also highlight some crucial issues that should be considered in the design of AI-tools to support creativity.
