Summer Symposium: Ukrainian Studies in Sweden. Methodological challenges and Future Perspectives
Ukrainian Studies is a fast-growing field of research in Sweden. At the same time, due to the Russian war in Ukraine, the contact between Swedish and Ukrainian colleagues has deteriorated.
How the war affected the collaboration between Ukrainian and Swedish scholars? How to provide empirical and archival studies in Ukraine in times of war? What are the methodological challenges and perspectives for future research? The key idea of the summer symposium is to develop the international network between Swedish scholars within the Ukrainian studies working at Södertörn, Uppsala, Lund and Örebro and Ukrainian scholars to share their experiences and views about the cooperation in scholarly activities and dimensions for future research.
The summer symposium is open for senior and junior lecturers and researchers who reside permanently in Ukraine, from the disciplines of history, history of ideas, religious and cultural studies, ethnology and others.
