Kristin Skare Orgeret, Professor in the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at Oslo Metropolitan University, Oslo, Norway, will deliver a lecture titled "Decoding Digital Media in African Regions of Conflict."

The lecture will focus on research from Ethiopia and Mali, representing two important regions of ongoing conflicts, namely the Horn of Africa and the Sahel, and discuss the role of social media in these ongoing conflicts.
