Revolution and the people: Leninism, aesthetics and politics
Part of the global event Leninist days.

As part of the global series of events entitled Leninist days, Södertörn University Library is host to the event Revolution and the people: leninism, aesthetics and politics.
This event will include three individual presentations followed by a discussion:
- Jason Barker: Does Leninism exist? On Andreas Malm’s Ecopolitics. Jason Barker is a filmmaker and Professor of Cultural Studies at Kyung Hee University, South Korea.
- Tora Lane: Lenin's Cosmic Gesture – Songs about the Revolution and Lenin being one
Tora Lane is an Associate Professor in Russian Literature at Stockholm University. - David Payne: From one Revolution to Another – the Dramaturgy of the People in the Russian and French Revolutions
David Payne has a PhD in Political Theory and is active at Södertörn University as researcher, lecturer and research editor.
Host of the panel is Alexander Stagnell, postdoctoral researcher in Rhetoric at Université libre de Bruxelles in Belgium.
This event is open to all.
