Intellectual Property and Circular Economy and Swedish-Baltic Intellectual Property Network Meeting
Map out how intellectual property strategies can support circular practices in industries like textiles and furniture. Nordic-Baltic researchers will discuss sustainable models for repair, reuse, and recycling in the EU.
Each year, the EU loses vast resources and generates significant emissions due to the premature disposal of consumer goods. A shift to circular practices—repair, reuse, and recycling—is essential for sustainability. This two-day workshop brings together Nordic and Baltic researchers to map out how intellectual property strategies and business models can support circular transitions in sectors such as textiles, furniture, and automotive. The event also addresses the evolving role of IP in EU policy and its potential to shape greener consumption patterns.
