Telecommunications and media infrastructures: Historizing contemporary public service media
The Kpub seminar is organized against the background of the ongoing government inquiry on the Distribution of radio and television programs in a new media landscape. The final report, originally due in September, has been postponed until next year, but an interim report is expected in December.
During the seminar we will hear from international scholars about their ongoing work exploring telecommunications and media infrastructures both from contemporary and historical perspectives.
Kpub will present preliminary findings from the systematic literature review of publications on public service media.
