"Antigypsyism: History and Memory". Critical Romani Studies Conference

Inaugural Conference of the Swedish Network for Antigypsyism Research and Critical Romani Studies (SACROS).

The conference highlights current Critical Romani Studies research on Holocaust andantigypsyism,

Keynote speakers: Ian Hancock, Ari Joskovicz and Ioannida Costache.

The "Antigypsyism: History and Memory" conference is a strategic initiative to advance
internationalization and knowledge exchange in the Baltic Sea Region and Eastern Europe by addressing the pressing issue of antigypsyism, a transnational phenomenon with deep historical roots in Eastern Europe.

A central goal is to launch the Swedish Network for Antigypsyism Research and Critical Romani Studies (SACROS), an interdisciplinary platform that will unite Swedish scholars to collaborate on innovative research projects, secure funding, and establish a sustainable research infrastructure.
