This international workshop assembles a group of key just sustainability transitions experts and researchers from the Baltic Sea and Eastern Partnership regions, including participants from Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Estonia, Finland and Sweden.

The workshop aims to initiate a regional network, exchange knowledge and experiences, as well as to identify shared research interests as part of developing collaborative research. In this way the workshop will provide a structured space to analyse current challenges and implementation gaps, and to co-develop ideas that advance just transition processes at multiple levels of governance spanning local to regional.

The workshop is arranged by EcoJust a research platform on Just Sustainability Transformations in collaboration with SEI Tallinn. Funding is provided by the Centre for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES).

On site participation is restricted to invitees only. However, opening presentations will be possible to see online. Interested are asked to register via mail to michael.gilek@sh.se
