Postdoctoral Research Fellow
I am a postdoctoral researcher within the project Social exclusion, polarization and security in the Nordic welfare state External link, opens in new window. (SEPOS, NordForsk, 2021-2023). My postdoctoral research focuses on state repression of right-wing extremism in the Nordic countries from the perspective of 'militant democracy'.
I was awarded a PhD in political science at Södertörn University in December 2020. My doctoral thesis External link, opens in new window. investigates mainstream party reactions to the Swedish radical right in terms of coalition formation and policy adaptation.
Research interests include party competition, coalition formation, militant democracy, animal politics, and research methods. My research has been published in journals such as Party Politics, Government and Opposition, och Representation.
I am a co-editor and contributor on the political science blog Makt och politik External link, opens in new window. ("Power and Politics").
From August 2016 to June 2017 I was a visiting fellow at the Swedish Parliament.
