Lotta Victor Tillberg, born in 1971, is holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Skill and Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. She further solidified her expertise by becoming an Associate Professor in the Theory of Practical Knowledge at Södertörn University in 2015.

Currently, Dr. Victor Tillberg serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Police Studies at Södertörn University, where she is responsible for the research profile "Secure Societies, Cyber and Collaboration." Her work at IPA includes developing continuing education programs for professional police officers and coordinating the university's Campus Totalförsvar initiative, which focuses on national defense collaboration.

Her research interests are centered on understanding and describing how skill develops and the significance of experience-based knowledge within diverse organizations and professions. She possesses extensive experience researching professional knowledge, with a specific focus on critical societal functions such such as policing, military operations, healthcare, teaching, and social work.

Dr. Victor Tillberg divides her time between Södertörn University and the Swedish Centre for Studies of Armed Forces and Society (www.csms.se), where she holds the position of Research Director. In this capacity, she leads a research project investigating the relationship between military professionalism and collaboration in the development of total defense.

Beyond her research and academic roles, she is actively involved in the academic community as the Editor-in-Chief for the Nordic Journal of Studies in Policing and as a Fellow at the Institute for Management of Innovation and Technology (www.imit.se).

In her teaching capacity, Dr. Victor Tillberg instructs on police work and has many years of experience teaching courses on leadership, communication, and group psychology. She supervises students focusing on practical knowledge at both master's and doctoral levels, currently serving as the principal supervisor for two collaborative PhD students.
