I am working on project "Leavers and stayers - Migrant and non-migrant life trajectories in Sweden and Finland" based at Department of Social Work, Södertörn University. We will invesitgate the socio-economic and demographic outcomes of migration for Finnish migrants and their offspring since 1970s combining Swedish and Finnish register data.

I am also affiliated under collaborated project "Demographic change and ethnolinguistic identity in an intergenerational perspective: The Swedish-speaking population in Finland (DemSwed)" between Stockholm University and Åbo Akademi Univeristy in Finland. My research focus will be inquiry on religious affiliation using Finnish register data.

I defended my PhD in Sociology from Department of Sociology, Stockholm University. My dissertation focuses on the impact of religion on political attitudes and political behaviors through political cleavages, political institutions and political articulation, in secularizing European societies.
