How the images/films may be used

Södertörn University has the right to use the images/films that feature you and are from this photography/film session, in both editorial and marketing contexts, in all relevant media, including social media, in accordance with that stated in this information sheet. Some examples of relevant contexts are the website, in advertising, brochures, as press images, or use by research partners, etc. The images/films may also be used in material that follows Södertörn University’s visual branding guidelines and originates from Södertörn University.

Södertörn University has the right to edit and crop the images/films covered by this agreement to enable their use for the purposes stated in this agreement.

The images/films may be used for an unlimited time or until they are deleted.

Södertörn University may not sell the images/films to a third party, but the
images/films may be used by a third party commissioned by Södertörn University, provided that applicable privacy legislation is complied with (however, see the comment below the heading Dissemination in social media). Press images may
be made available to the media for editorial use for an indefinite period.

Dissemination in social media

Södertörn University markets itself in social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or YouTube) and on other social platforms and in other media that is based in a third country. In some cases, there is a lack of the necessary security measures between the company and the EU/EEA, or between the company and Södertörn University. It is therefore uncertain whether Södertörn University can
prevent images posted in these media being used in ways other than those agreed in this agreement. Thus, where relevant, Södertörn University needs your expressagreement for this transfer of your personal data (image/name).

Personal data processing

Södertörn University is the data controller and has your agreement to process, for an undetermined time, your personal data to the extent necessary for the management of this project. Personal data includes the images/films and other information about you as an individual, such as your name and contact details. The images/films will be removed and archived within 15 years of the photographs/film being recorded, when they are judged no longer relevant for marketing Södertörn University.

Recall/questions/complaints

If you want us to stop using the images/films in new publications, you are entitled to this. If you want to know how your personal data is used or believe that we have used your personal data in a manner outside this agreement or current legislation, please contact Södertörn University’s data protection officer via the switchboard +46 (0)8 608 4000 or dataskydd@sh.se.

If you have complaints about Södertörn University’s management of your personal data, you can contact the supervisory authority, the Swedish Data Protection Authority.

Through this information sheet, Södertörn University believes that you have
received the information to which you are entitled under articles 7, 13 and 49 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
