New library system - get your pincode

We now have a new library system in place, including a new My loans service. You now need a pincode to borrow books. If you are a student or member of staff at RKH, SMI or belong to the general public, your code is also used to log into My loans. Read more about what applies to you. Welcome to try it out.

Automatic renewals

The best news is that you no longer have to remember to renew your loans on course books and 3 week loans. This is done automatically as long as no one has requested the book, or any other obstacle exists. You will receive an email telling you if the renewal has gone through, or if you need to return the book.

We will renew your course books for up to six months, and your 3-week loans for up to 2 years. If for some reason you want to renew a loan in advance, contact us and we will help you. We hope and expect that by this, many unnecessary overdue fines will disappear.
