Open for students and staff members - still closed to the public this autumn

The library is open to students and staff members at SH, RKH and SMI. You need a key card (SH card) to enter. Read more about how to get your card.

We will continue to stay closed to the public (including for example students at Stockholm university, KI and KTH). We regret this, and look forward to seeing you when it is possible.

Opening hours

Since 3 November the information desk is partly unstaffed during the opening hours, due to stricter local restrictions. If you need to pick up an inter-library loan, you must do so during the staffed hours. Requested books, however, are placed in the Day loans room, so you can access them during the entire opening hours.

If you need to pick up a requested book, but don't want, can or is allowed to enter the library, you may send another person to get it for you. The other person must bring your as well as their own valid ID. Since the outer doors of the library are currently locked due to the pandemic, they must, for the time being, be a student or member of staff at either SH, RKH or SMI. They need a key card of their own in order to enter. In case you no longer need a book you requested, please notify us so someone else can have it. Since 6 May, only students and members of staff at SH, RKH and SMI can borrow.
