The Act of Copyright in Literature and Artistic Works gives the creator right to decide where and how the work may be disseminated, amended or used. You have the right to refer to and quote a short passage from a literary source, if you provide a complete reference. When using pictures, tables, diagrams and other figures you need permission from the copyright holder.
