Remember your SH card when visiting the library during evenings and weekends
To enter and exit the library on weekdays after 16:30 and during weekends, you need your SH card and its associated PIN code.

On weekdays after 16:30 and during weekends, the library is only open to students and staff at Södertörn University, the Red Cross University, and SMI, with a keycard.
Other visitors are welcome to visit the library on weekdays from 08:30 to 16:30.
Visitors who do not have their SH card/keycard avaliable cannot stay in the library premises when the library is closed to the general public. The library staff cannot let in visitors who have forgotten to bring their SH card/keycard.
Here's what you need to think about:
- Student/staff at Södertörn University: Use your SH card to enter after 16:30 on weekdays and on weekends. You can use the library during the entire opening hours. Remember to always bring the card – you may be asked to present it.
- Student/staff at the Red Cross University or SMI: You need to pick up a keycard at Södertörn University's Infocenter to be able to use the library on evenings and weekends. With the card, you can use the library during the entire opening hours. Note that you may be asked to present the card.
- General public, including students and staff at KI, KTH, SU and other universities: Unfortunately, you can only use the library on weekdays 8:30–16:30.
Please note that even with a keycard, you can only visit the library within our opening hours.
Need to return a book when the library is closed? Our book drop is always open! You can find it to the left of the main entrance of the library building.
