New podcast turns its attention to the past and future of the far right
Professor Cas Mudde, honorary doctor at Södertörn University in 2026, is a guest on the School of Social Sciences’ new podcast “Samhällsperspektiv från Södertörn”. The podcast’s first episode takes its cue from Cas Mudde’s influential research on populism and the far right.
In the interview, Cas Mudde, Stanley Wade Shelton UGAF Professor of International Affairs at the University of Georgia in Athens, USA, discusses the global spread of the far right and whether the radical right has become increasingly normalised.
