Do you have a cervix and were born between 1994 and 1999? If so, you can get a free HPV vaccination at Södertörn University! This increases your protection against cervical cancer and also helps eradicate the disease in Sweden. Please remember to bring a valid ID.

This offer is also open to people who do not have a Swedish personal ID number, as well as people who were vaccinated at school - the vaccine now being used provides greater protection than the previous one. After the vaccination, you will be given a self-testing kit for HPV that you must use and return.

Part of a national initiative

Free HPV vaccination is being offered to the target group in all regions of Sweden until 30 June 2025, as part of a national effort to eradicate cervical cancer in Sweden.

Free HPV vaccination is already available for children in school years 5–6 via the school, but to eradicate the disease more people with a cervix who were born 1994–1999 need to get vaccinated. The vaccination campaign at Södertörn University is being conducted in partnership with Region Stockholm and the Regional Cancer Centre Stockholm Gotland.
