On this course, you will gain in-depth understanding of theories within media and communication studies that relate to media and migration, as well as independently and critically discussing central theoretical and methodological issues in relation to this subject. It also trains an in-depth capacity for nuanced and critical thinking, self-reflection, contextualisation and the historicization of the subject of media and migration.

The course is examined through a written essay, presentations and participation in the seminars.
