What's included?

The critical examination of theories and perspectives in political and social institutions

On this course, you will learn to summarise and analyse relevant literature and to discern and present the most important theoretical perspectives in the subfield of political and social institutions. These theories and perspectives are then applied to selected case studies. Great emphasis is put on the critical examination of the various theories and linking them to empirical issues.

Course design

The course consists of lectures and seminars and is assessed through a written assignment, oral presentations and your participation in the seminars.
