Deconstruct and refine design choices using practical analysis

The International Game Developers Association states that game analysis is a skill that all game designers should possess. This course covers the central theories of game design analysis, so you will learn about how different design choices influence a game, and important theories for analysing and critically evaluating these choices.

The course is taught through lectures and seminars, weaving theoretical and practical elements into teaching, including practical analysis exercises for deconstructing and refining design choices. Your written analysis assignments are used to assess your performance.
