This distance learning course builds upon GIS I and is also run as half of full-time studies. It has an in-depth section on GIS theory, and a larger, practical section in which GIS is used to solve problems with different data types and analyses, as well as an individual project.

It covers data management and advanced analyses and visualisations, such as complex layouts and 3D maps, as well as overlay analysis of a larger number of data layers with different characteristics. There are applied examples from the labour market and research.

All teaching is in English, and all examination assignments can be written in English or Swedish.
