In-depth understanding of grammar in general and English in particular On this course, you will deepen your knowledge of grammar – both in general and English grammar in particular. One part of the course covers the ability to analyse and understand the structure of language in general, and is called “Basic Language Analysis”, where you will examine the syntactic structure of language, as well as basic concepts and methods for syntactic analysis. In the second part, “Applied Grammar”, you practise your proficiency in English, and your ability to understand and apply grammar rules of English. Written exercises form an important element of this part of the course. Course design Teaching is in the form of lectures and seminars, and is entirely conducted in English. The course is examined through a written exam, and attendance and participation in lectures and seminars.
