What's included?

Business English vocabulary, correspondence and the effect of intercultural relations

This course aims to help you understand and produce both written and spoken Business English in an appropriate and comprehensible way, allowing you to adapt your own language style depending on the audience, context and communicative goals. You will demonstrate the business-specific vocabulary and understanding of conventions you acquire by producing reports and correspondence, as well as delivering oral presentations. The course also covers the effect of intercultural relations on English as a business language and the importance of language in a business context.

Course design

Teaching is in the form of lectures and seminars, including oral presentations, and all teaching and course materials are in English. The course is assessed through active participation in seminars and the continuous assessment of written assignments and oral presentations.
