Basic knowledge of Swedish language, society and culture

The purpose of this course is to provide you with basic knowledge of Swedish, with a focus on spoken language, and to introduce you to Swedish grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. You will also learn about some aspects of Swedish society and Sweden’s climate and geography.

Course design

The course is seminar-based and is assessed through your participation in the seminars, written and oral assignments and a written take-home exam at the end of the course.
