ENTER forum

ENTER forum is a meeting place for researchers in entrepreneurship from different disciplines and environments. We conduct research and collaboration with the surrounding community through co-production, joint projects and contract education.

Using the ENTER forum, Södertörn University wants to increase knowledge about the role of entrepreneurship in societal development, stimulate interest in entrepreneurship research and contribute to the development of thriving business. Our task includes planning and coordinating research and education in entrepreneurship. As a subject, entrepreneurship is multidisciplinary and stretches across subject boundaries at Södertörn University.

The overarching theme of our research is the dynamics of entrepreneurship, which deals with understanding how old and accepted structures change and are replaced by new ones. Research includes socioeconomic change at macro and micro levels, from both historical and contemporary perspectives. A significant part of our research has an international focus, specifically the Baltic Sea region and Eastern Europe.

We do not only conduct research, but also education and seminar activities. We also organise conferences in entrepreneurship and run various collaborative projects.

Our researchers are involved in teaching at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels. We also offer tailored contract education for professional groups such as upper-secondary school teachers, researchers, innovators and innovation promoters.
