The subject collaborates in various ways with cultural institutions in Stockholm, such as Strindberg’s Intima Teater and Botkyrka Library, which strengthens teaching and conveys the teaching staff’s knowledge to an interested public. The subject’s drama specialisation is also involved in a local cooperation between Södertörn University and Huddinge Municipality on an artistic residency. Additionally, several of the teachers write articles and reviews in journals and daily newspapers. They also make regular appearances as lecturers, participate in seminars and book releases, and are engaged in editorial or advisory positions for organisation such as Glänta Produktion and the lambda nordica journal.
