The research environment investigates how the digitalization of schools affects learning and inclusion in group work for students with ADHD and students with visual impairments aged 15–18. Within this environment, we explore the current conditions for these students regarding the effects that school digitalization has on learning both individually and in group settings. We also examine whether more students can reach the learning objectives when multisensory interfaces are used together with an inclusive pedagogical approach.

The research environment is funded for the period 2024–2029 and investigates how the digitalization of schools affects learning and inclusion in group work for students with ADHD and students with visual impairments aged 15–18. Within the environment, we explore the current conditions for these students regarding the effects that school digitalization has on learning both individually and in group settings. We also examine whether more students can reach the learning objectives when multisensory interfaces are used together with an inclusive pedagogical approach.

In this context, a multisensory interface refers to a digital learning environment that can be explored and interacted with not only through vision, but also through hearing and touch.
