Teaches at all levels. Research interests include secularisation, new religions, "alternative spirituality", and Western esotericism (the latter also in relation to art/literature)
Research and education
I am a historian of religion, researching esotericism, occultism, contemporary spirituality, and new religious movements, focusing especially on issues of gender and sexuality.
I'm a PhD i the Study of religions. March 26th I will defend my thesis: "The Altar of Tolerance and Deference through Avoidance" about how pupils in school talks about religion.
My main research interests deal with subcultures and religion in contemporary Muslim majority societies. I am currently resaerching the black metal music scene in Turkey.

I am lecturer and researcher in religious education and ethics. My man intressed is in virtue ethics.
Jewish studies, teaching religion, Yiddish literature, interreligious encounters (esp. the Middle Ages), religion and gardening, religion and sexuality, religion and food
I am teaching in development theories, religiosity and existential questions. My research area is children, existential questions in relation to mental health.
My research have mainly been devoted to Islam and Sufism, historical and recent, in Sweden and globally. Several of my projects also concerns religion and migration.
