You can borrow printed books in our check-out machines, or come to the information desk if you want assistance. You must have a library card or an SH card with a pin code. Please note that currently only students and staff members at Södertörn University (SH), The Swedish Red Cross University College (RKH), the University College of Music Education in Stockholm (SMI), may borrow, due to the pandemic. In normal circumstances everyone may borrow, except for course books. Read more about borrowing on the page Borrow.

Databases and e-books

You can access e-books and databases by using your SH-account if you are a student or staff member at SH. Use your RKH-account if you are a student or staff member at RKH. In normal cases all other visitors, including students at other universities are welcome to the library to use our e-resources in the library. However, currently the doors are locked, and only students and staff members at SH, RKH and SMI can enter. Read more about the databases offered by the library in the databases list and about access on the pages SH: Access to databases and other e-resources and RKH: Access to databases and other e-resources.
