What are the rules in the exam hall?

Södertörn University’s Guidelines for In-Person Examinations apply to written exams. These rules exist so that all students will be equally and fairly treated. It is important that you understand them. Ask an invigilator if you are unsure about what is permitted in the exam hall or have other questions about your in-person examination.

For paper-based in-person examinations, we recommend writing your answers neatly in dark letters, for example using a black rollerball pen or thick pencil. This facilitates the assessment and scanning of your exam paper.

Digital in-person exams are written using the Inspera software on the university’s computers in the exam hall. Below, you can practice writing a digital in-person exam and familiarise yourself with the tools in Inspera.
