Protected identity
Do you need a protected identity during your study period? When necessary, a student at Södertörn University may receive a confidentiality marking on their information in the Swedish Population Register – this applies to a protected address and/or identity.
Protected address
If you have been assigned a protected address, Ladok will automatically receive a case message stating that your address has been removed from the system due to confidentiality. Ladok administrators manage the case by checking that the address has been removed from Ladok.
Protected identity
If the confidentiality marking means that you need a protected identity, you must contact the confidentiality officer at UHR/antagninge.se. In consultation with you, they will provide a fictitious name and personal identity number that they will enter in antagning.se, thus protecting your real data. Once this has been done, the case will be transferred to Ladok, and a Ladok officer with special authorisation will deal with it. Södertörn University has only two officers who can handle these cases.
Once the fictitious data has been transferred to Ladok from antagning.se, your new name and personal identity number will be available in other systems linked to Ladok, including Studiewebben. You will be contacted by one of these authorised Ladok officers, who will provide you with information about how the university manages students with protected personal data. If you have any questions, please contact ladok@sh.se. Remember not to use your real name when contacting us – always use your new fictitious name.
