Professional qualifications

  • Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Education (210, 240, 270, 300 and 330 credits). (Programmes started in July 2007 or later, up to spring 2011.)
  • Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Pre-School Education (210 credits), Bachelor of Education for the Compulsory School (three specialisations, 240, 240 and 180 credits) and Degree of Master of Arts/Science in Upper Secondary Education (300 or 330 credits with two specialisations). (Programmes started autumn 2011 or later.)
  • Degree of Master of Science in Healthcare Counselling
  • Police Education (Awarded by the Swedish Police Authority)
  • Degree of Bachelor of Science in Social Work (210 credits).

Main fields of study are decided by the Faculty Board. Qualifications are only issued in main fields of study at Södertörn University that are entitled to award qualifications. The table below shows the level(s) at which a qualification may be awarded in a main field of study. Some fields may have been previously offered at a particular level, but been temporarily or permanently withdrawn. (x=can be awarded)
