Returning books

All books you borrow must be returned. Here's how.

Reduced opening hours and changed routines due to the Corona virus outbreak

The library is currently closed to the public. Open exclusively to students and staff members at SH, RKH and SMI with SH cards. Shorter opening hours and limited service at the information desk, please see page Contact and opening hours for details. Read more about how the pandemic is affecting the library services.

Return all books (including day loans) in the check-in machine on floor 5 (entrance floor), when the library is open. Remember to always take a receipt and make sure everything has been returned correctly. When the library is closed you can return books in the book drop just on the left side by the entrance. You can return both your own and other people's books and you do not need a library card.

You can also post books to the library, but remember that you are responsible for all books you borrow. You can find the address on page Contact and opening hours.

You can only return books that you have borrowed at Södertörn University Library, books from our the library collection and books that you have requested as inter-library loans through us. Books that you have borrowed from other libraries must be returned to that particular library.
