Terms and Conditions for SH-Account at Södertörn University
Your SH-Account authorises your access to the university's IT systems. Here are the terms and conditions that apply to the use of your SH-Account and related IT resources. More information for staff is available in the university's IT Guidelines.
- Personal Authorization: Your SH-Account is personal and consists of a username and password that only you may use.
- Non-commercial Use: You may not use your SH-Account for commercial purposes.
- Responsibility for Communication: You are responsible for all content and communication that occurs via your SH-Account.
- Careful Handling: Handle the university's IT resources carefully and correctly. Never lend out the university's IT equipment to anyone outside the university.
- Respect for Others: Treat other individuals and groups with respect. Do not spread messages with racist or anti-democratic content.
- No Intrusion: Do not infringe, i.e. hack, or disrupt the university's or others' systems.
- Copyright: Use only software and content that you have permission to use. This applies to texts, images, audio, and other protected content.
- Decent Browsing: Avoid visiting sites with offensive content, such as pornography or violence, via the university's network and resources.
- Legislation: Follow applicable laws and regulations.
- Information Security: Take measures to protect information and personal data to prevent unauthorized access.
If you follow these rules and conditions, you have access to the university's IT resources throughout your employment or study period. If you break any rule, you may be suspended from the university's IT system, temporarily or permanently.

It is your responsibility to stay updated on changes in the university's rules and conditions. Changes are announced at the Infocenter, on www.sh.se and on the Medarbetarwebben.
